It’s time once again to plan for Stromsburg’s annual Swedish Midsommar Festival which runs from Friday, June 18th through Sunday, June 20th. Schedules for the event are available at various local retailers, banks and at the Stromsburg City Office. Highlights include an Extreme Soap Box Derby race, lawn mower races, a Swedish tractor pull, music, horseshoe, softball and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, food, entertainment and more. If you’ve never checked out this annual event, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Bring the family and plan a visit to Stromsburg for a taste of our Swedish heritage and some good food and fun.
