The first step to using our Community Discussion Forums is to REGISTER for the bulletin board. On the main navigation bar on the website, click on the Community Forums button. Once the board loads, you will notice there's a navigation bar at the very top of the browser window that spans clear across the page. In the upper left corner, click on the Register link. This will take you to a page with a form that requires you to fill out some basic information needed for the registration process. Once registered, you will be able to post to the board, send private messages to other users and reply to topics that interest you. Until you register, you can only read what is already there. The information you provide at registration is not shared with anyone. |

Your username is the name that appears when you post or reply on the board. We prefer that users on this site use their real name or part of it, not goofy stuff like HotMama49 and xqrp77694. Using RustyT or Rusty^T if your name is Russel Tunaboat is fine, or a nickname the locals know you by. This isn't a board where the kiddies hang out, or a place for old perverts to lie about their age. Anonymous, secret agent tactics are hardly necessary. You'll need to provide a valid e-mail address. The server will send us a notification when you register, and if that message is kicked back because the e-mail address isn't a real one, then it sends us a notification of that, as well. In all such cases, we'll simply delete the account and not activate it. You must choose a password to use when you log in, so pick something that you can remember. We normally activate newly registered accounts within 24 hours, usually sooner than that. |
